These spacers will move your wheels out away from the wheel hub to allow for extra clearance due to caliper interference. Wheel spacers are generally available in widths from 1/4 to 1/2 inch which will allow you to retain your factory wheel studs. If you need wider than that then you need to use a set of wheel adapters which generally start at 1.5 inches thick
